Happy new year! Here we are in 2021 and we are still still living with a global pandemic. It’s not exactly the start to the year we were all hoping for but all is not lost. I know that many couples will once again be preparing to postpone their wedding because of restrictions on numbers and we totally support all our couples that choose to do this. If however you are considering going ahead with a small wedding then we have good news for you. Elopements and micro weddings are wonderful, intimate and stunning. Heres a wee collection of uniquely beautiful micro weddings and elopements that we have been lucky enough to photograph around Scotland. If your still dreaming of a party you can always throw a big get together at a later date and its a good excuse to wear that wedding dress twice! Another good thing about Eloping in Scotland is that you can get married anywhere you want. Your back garden, in the mountains, on a beach, in the woods, you can get married in the sea if you wanted! Some of these awesome locations in order were Dalvey house and Cubin forest, Loch an Eilean, Glencoe, Loch Tay, Newburgh beach and Old Slains castle, Kiloch Lodge in Lairg, Roseaisle beach and the Boath house and then Glencoe again.
