We were delighted to have a styled shoot recently at the stunning House of Schivas. It is just a few short minutes from where we live and it is such a unique place. We couldn’t wait to make the most of every single room. From the stunning outdoor scenery to quirky garish wallpaper, old bookcases, vintage decor and they even have an art deco style outdoor pool house. We got together with some of the most talented local suppliers in the area and came up with a 1920s style that was full of simple elegance. We knew right away that we wanted lots of greens for the florals and I knew just who to ask. Lorna at Floral Request provided all the beautiful blooms and it all collaborated so well with the stationary. We were blown away with what Stacey from Love Paper Co. came up with. We just gave her the colour scheme and asked for a 1920s feel and she created the most stunning stationary I have ever seen. Also big thanks Michelle from Rapheal Weddings for helping with the organising she is fabulous at what she does. Thank you to Gibbs Menswear for the tweed suit, and Heritage Boutique for the perfect dress to suit our theme. Greypuss Jewellery for the hair piece. Also a massive shout out to Sarah from Nethermill Salon for the stunning hair and Trisha from Kiss & MakeUp for the beautiful make up. It was a very particular look we were after and they nailed it. It took weeks of planning and Craig and I are honestly humbled by the amount of effort put in from every supplier involved. We were pretty excited when we arrived to the most stunning snow scene, it was perfect. Massive thanks to Nicola from House of Schivas for having us and how can we possible forget our amazing & adorable couple Hollie and Scott. It was pretty cold and they braved the icy temperatures for the most beautiful portraits in the snow. You guys did amazing! It was so much fun to collaborate and create something unique to us all, definitely gets the creative juices flowing for the up and coming wedding season. Also one more mention for the rose gold confetti cannon from Fabulous Party Ware. Wow those things are loud and a bit messy but totally worth it. We hope you enjoy the photos as much as we enjoyed creating them. Hayley & Craig, House of Schivas wedding.
